DESCRIPTION:• What we'll doThe recent crash has led many to question the viability of crypto-assets both as alternative currencies and as long-term investments. I'm here to reaffirm my commitment to these assets and spread the word to others about the benefits and potential for progress exclusive only to crypto-assets. This meetup will answer some of the common questions surrounding cryptos: Are they really based off "nothing"? Is this just a giant bubble? Why are some people so passionate about the cryptos? How can cryptos overcome government regulation? How can I make money on the supply side of this industry? and more. I want to emphasize that, despite my personal advocacy for crypto-assets, this a place that welcomes all perspectives: those experienced in cryptos, those who lost faith in cryptos, and those who want to know more about cryptos. I should mention also that my advocacy for cryptos is based on a mistrust of the major world currencies and so my presentation has a political component. Please do not think that you have to agree with me on this at all to attend. Think of the environment as being more like a townhall format since I always open the floor for debate. Some of the macro-economic issues I cover are politically contentious, and I welcome any and all sincere opinions.
